UNIQUE SERVICES
For Day Care Centers:
Our language trainer will provide toddlers and preschoolers with their first contact with the new language through playful learning. Basic phrases are reinforced through daily activities, songs and finger play. Some of the learning outcomes you can expect from this program are pronunciation and recognition of basic letters, greetings, as well as songs and rhymes. Please contact us to further discuss.

For Spanish, French and Portuguese Heritage speakers:
Who are they? Some typical situations are the following:
- You were raised in a household where one or both parents spoke a different language than your formal education language.
- You were born in a Spanish/French/ Portuguese speaking environment (i.e., Colombia, Belgium, Quebec, Brazil etc.) but then moved to an English speaking community (i.e., Western Canada, Ontario), when you were still a young child.
- Heritage students comprise a broad range of experiences and levels of competency in the target language: from mostly being able to understand the language or speaking it with some difficulty, to feeling comfortable talking and reading about a wide variety of topics in the language.

Speaking ONLY - Practice Sessions:

It’s by speaking the foreign language that one becomes a better speaker. The problem is that you may not know anyone you can speak the foreign language with.
Conversing in a foreign language is not easy. In some ways, it’s almost akin to public speaking. It puts you on the spot and tests your ability to think using a set of linguistic tools that are not as automatic as those of your native language. Many students – especially beginners and lower-level students – are self-conscious about conversing in the foreign language because they know how imperfect they sound. But this makes it even more imperative to get here and practice.
